Help the BGA make grooms voices heard

An important message from our founder and CEO...

"For over 20 years, I’ve worked on behalf of grooms.

It doesn’t matter to me whether you work for a high-profile, medal-winning rider or in a tiny riding school. What matters is that you are employed legally, treated fairly, and are happy and able to enjoy your workplace.

To help the British Grooms Association achieve this goal I’m asking every groom - BGA member or not - to donate 15 minutes of your time to something really important.

The British Equestrian Federation (BEF) is finally investing in grooms through its new People Plan. The first part of this work is a survey to find out what is actually happening in equestrian workplaces across the country.

And yes, I get it — you probably have survey fatigue. We ask you to share your views and experiences all the time.

 But this one really matters.

COMPLETE THE SURVEY NOW

This is our opportunity to demonstrate to the BEF just how important the groom community is. It is also your chance to make sure your experiences of both good and bad employment and workplaces are represented in this national research.

So please, if you can spare 15 minutes, complete the survey and have your say.

Your voice matters. Your experience matters. And this is an opportunity to make sure grooms are properly heard.

Thank you for taking the time to support this."
